Description: | Lustrous transparent emerald-green grossular garnet crystals to 1 mm on translucent yellow-green prismatic diopside crystals to 9 mm. The grossular garnet are dodecahedral form and the intense green color is caused by chrome impurities. Ex. Irving Horowitz collection #2255 |
