Locality:N'Chwaning II Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Description:Many intersecting translucent pink calcite crystals that fluoresce orange under SW UV. The calcite crystals are in elongated aggregates to 16 mm of parallel crystals. The pink color is due to manganese impurities, commonly labeled as manganoan calcite.
