Mineral:Calcite with phantom-growth zoning
Locality:Leiping Mine, Guiyang, Hunan, China
Description:Lustrous transparent yellow calcite crystals with subtly phantom-growth zones visible in the crystals. The calcite crystals are tabular hexagonal form with rhombohedral termination faces. The calcite fluoresces orange under SW UV illumination.
