Locality:Mount Marie Quarry, 7.5 km southeast of Paris Hill, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystals in parallel orientation with no matrix attached. Another brown mineral grew on the terminations, but later dissolved leaving a contact. The smoky color of the quartz crystals is darkest on the edges. Collected ca. 1973
