Description: | Lustrous yellow-metallic pyrite pseudomorphs after marcasite crystals on a compact mass of crystallized pyrite. The marcasite crystallized first, then altered molecule by molecule to pyrite, while maintaining the original marcasite morphology. Ex. W. Keller #2036, acquired in 1997 from the Tysons |
