Description: | V-shaped formation of twinned selenite crystals, the transparent variety of the mineral species gypsum with brown Fe-rich mud included in zones about 2 mm below the surface. The crystal faces of the selenite have a satin luster. A floater. Ex. R. Bates Collection #563 |
