Description: | Double-sided specimen of lustrous transparent orange grossular garnet crystals to 17 mm over a core of diorite-gabbro. The largest grossular garnet crystals is highly transparent with flawless areas that could produce 4 mm gemstones if faceted. Collected ca. 1995 |
