Description: | Lustrous black cubic bixbyite crystal on tan-colored rhyolite. The bixbyite is cubic with {112, 121, 211} corner faces and sawtooth-like edge patterns caused by secondary faces {112, 121, 211, etc.}. One corner of the bixbyite crystal is chipped. Collected ca. 1980 |
