Description: | Lustrous reddish-brown clintonite crystals embedded in pinkish-gray titanium-rich diopside. Clintonite, an uncommon mica species, occurs in high-grade metamorphic marbles. This is from the Type Locality where clintonite was first found and described. Ex. Dave Wellbrock collection M1146b, collected in March 1995 |
