Locality:Serrote Redondo, near Pedra Lavrada, Paraiba, Brazil
Description:Two lustrous translucent red-brown almandine garnet crystals embedded in a quartz nodule. The almandine crystal is trapezohedral form. These nodules are found in a local alluvial deposit, and are split open to reveal the almandine crystals inside.
Overall Size:3.5x2.5x2 cm
Crystals:11-14 mm
