Description: | Lustrous bright yellow-metallic octahedral pyrite crystals to 4 mm on greenish-metallic hoppered chalcopyrite crystals to 9 mm. Pyrite crystals from French Creek are not as common as chalcopyrite. Classic locality dating to the 1800s, now closed. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970) |
