Description: | Twisted wire crystals of native silver on sooty gray pseudo-cubic acanthite pseudomorphs after argentite crystals to 2 mm. The argentite crystallized first, but is stable only above 179° C, when cooled it altered to acanthite resulting in pseudomorphs. Ex. Robert Edward (Bob) Jenkins II (?-2010) |
