Description: | Flawless (gem-grade) lustrous transparent deep-green emerald crystal, the green gem variety of the mineral beryl, dark gray matrix. The emerald crystal is stubby hexagonal form with flat basal pinacoid termination. Could produce a 5x6 mm gemstone if cut. Ex. J. Bussman; ex. Betts #61825 |
