Description: | Lustrous transparent yellow-green 3 mm sphalerite crystal on translucent green prehnite crystals in rounded aggregates to 9 mm across. Sphalerite, a sulfide mineral, is rare in zeolite cavities and highly prized by local collectors. Bottom is sawn flat. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1989 |
