Locality:North Moat Mountain, Bartlett, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous transparent dark smoky quartz crystal with minor albite on the bottom where it was attached. The smoky quartz crystal has an unusually distinct internal phantom-growth zone (difficult to photograph - must see in person to appreciate). From my personal collection; collected ca. 1989
