Description: | Lustrous transparent pale-purple amethyst quartz crystals to 2 mm with rectangular pseudomorphic molds after bladed anhydrite crystals. The anhydrite formed first, then was surrounded by amethyst, when the anhydrite later dissolved it left molds. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1990 |
