Locality:Gorge Road condominium excavation, Edgewater, Palisades Sill, Bergen County, New Jersey
Description:Large cluster of translucent white quartz crystals with brown limonite collected at a one-time construction site. The quartz crystals formed in a vertical fracture in the Palisades Sill. The early mineralization fluoresces under red SW UV illumination. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1999
