Locality: | Philips Mine, Philipstown, Anthony's Nose, Cortlandt, Westchester County, New York |
Description: | Doubly-terminated lustrous translucent brown fluorapatite crystal on the weathered faces of metallic pyrrhotite. The fresh exposures on the edges of the pyrrhotite have yellow-metallic luster. This specimen was illustrated in my article. From my private collection #738; collected July 1997.
