Description: | Doubly-terminated translucent pink morganite crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral species beryl, in quartz-albite. The morganite crystal has two prism faces and parts of both terminations visible, other areas are incomplete or in the quartz. From my personal collection #739; collected on the Boston Mineral Club field trip when the dumps were being graded during golf course construction ca. 1994 |
