Description: | Flat plate (part of a fracture-filling vein) of lustrous transparent brown quartz crystals to 1.5 mm on translucent white calcite. It is unusual that the quartz crystals appear to be colored by limonite, but the calcite shows no sign of limonite. From my private collection; collected July 1997.
