Mineral:Calcite on Dolomite with Sphalerite
Locality:Walworth Quarry, Wayne County, New York
Description:Lustrous transparent yellow scalenohedral calcite crystals to 25 mm on lustrous translucent white rhombohedral dolomite crystals to 8 mm with a small 2 mm translucent orange sphalerite crystal lining a cavity in gray limestone. Rear was sawn flat. From my private collection; collected ca. 2000
