Locality:Walworth Quarry, Wayne County, New York
Description:Lustrous transparent colorless gypsum crystal (variety: Selenite) with remnants of brown limestone on the exterior. The gypsum has a flat cleavage face on the side that shows the nearly flawless interior. The outer surfaces contacted the cavity wall. From my private collection; collected ca. 2000
