| Description: | Lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystals over hemispherical white microcline, with etched well-defined {7181} faces on adjacent corners indicating they are twinned following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning. Some large crystals are incomplete. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s |
