Locality:Eastern Rock Products Quarry (Benchmark Quarry), St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, New York
Description:Lustrous transparent Herkimer diamonds, the variety of quartz crystal from the Herkimer region, to 34 mm surrounded by rhombic translucent yellow dolomite crystals to 4 mm with brown calcite crystals to 10 mm on gray dolostone. The rear was sawn. From my personal collection; collected in 1994
