Locality:Strickland Quarry, Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Lustrous translucent green elbaite tourmaline partial crystals to 26 mm embedded in silvery thin muscovite mica crystals on gray quartz. Elbaite tourmaline crystals are visible on the front and top edge of the muscovite. From my personal collection; collected on the Boston Mineral Club field trip when the dumps were being graded during golf course construction ca. 1994
