Locality:Pipeline excavation east side of Strickland Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Elongated translucent green beryl crystal embedded in quartz-albite matrix with smaller beryl crystals visible around the perimeter. From a one-time find on the hill adjacent to Collins Hill where the famous Strickland Quarry is located. Collected June 1997 during pipeline excavation
Overall Size:7.5x6.5x4 cm
