Locality:Strickland Quarry, Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Small cavity lined with lustrous transparent elbaite crystals to 7 mm, platy transparent albite crystals (variety cleavelandite) to 2 mm and an iron-stained transparent 8 mm quartz crystal. From my personal collection; collected on the Boston Mineral Club field trip when the dumps were being graded during golf course construction ca. 1994
