Description: | Four lustrous transparent green elbaite tourmaline crystals embedded in the face of a muscovite mica crystal. The elbaite tourmaline crystals grew through the middle of the muscovite mica and were exposed by splitting the mica. From my personal collection; collected on the Boston Mineral Club field trip when the dumps were being graded during golf course construction ca. 1994 |
