Description: | Two lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystals to 23 mm with microcrystals on the faces, on white microcline crystals to 12 mm. One smoky quartz has well-defined {7181} faces on adjacent corners indicating twinning following the Dauphiné Law of twinning. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1970s |
