Mineral:	Quartz var. Smoky Quartz (Dauphiné-law twins)
Locality:	Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:	Lustrous doubly-terminated transparent smoky quartz crystal with bottom termination composed of many small parallel faces. The smoky quartz crystal is twinned following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning with rare crystal faces and suture lines visible. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1970s
