Locality: | Apache Mine (Vanadium Shaft), 8 km north of Globe, Gila County, Arizona |
Description: | Lustrous translucent red vanadinite crystals to 1 mm scattered over front, rear, and edges of brown matrix with overgrowth of translucent white calcite crystals to 2 mm. The vanadinite crystals are hexagonal form with flat basal pinacoid terminations. Ex. R. T. Hurr collection |
