Locality:Ray Mine, Mineral Creek District, Pinal County, Arizona
Description:Patch 11 mm across of red chalcotrichite crystals, the hair-like variety of the mineral species cuprite, on contrasting pale-green chrysocolla microcrystals. The chalcotrichite crystals are in a dense mat of intertwined straight crystals. Collected ca. 1980
