Locality:Soledad, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Description:Large cluster of lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals on greenish matrix. The amethyst crystals cover the plate and form a ridge of larger amethyst crystals across the middle. Has small fibrous brown goethite inclusions in some crystals. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection, acquired from Bartsch Mineralogical in 1989
