Description: | Large aquamarine crystal, the blue gem variety of the mineral species beryl, with glassy crystal faces and silvery muscovite mica crystals on the rear. The aquamarine crystal has a basal pinacoid termination modified by pyramidal corner faces. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection, acquired from D. Blauwet in 2002 |
