Locality:Goboboseb Mountains, 43 km west of Brandberg Mountain, Erongo region, Namibia
Description:Lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals on a matrix of quartz-feldspar. The amethyst crystals have zones of deep purple color in the terminations and a few have microscopic red hematite crystal inclusions. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection; ex. Charlie Key collection in 2013
