Description:Unusually large doubly-terminated translucent purple-gray amethyst quartz crystal with platy aggregates of interconnected quartz crystals to 15 mm on the ends. The large amethyst crystal has zones of purple color deep inside the crystal. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection; ex. Kosnar in 2012
