Description: | Two sharp azurite crystals on a fragment of light-colored matrix. The azurite crystals are translucent blue with thin surface alteration to green malachite. A malachite pseudomorph would have resulted if the azurite continued to alter to malachite. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection, originally acquired in 2005 |
