Description: | Large double-sided plate of elongated staurolite crystals to 24 mm with a few dodecahedral dark-red almandine garnet crystals to 7 mm in brown schist. The staurolite and almandine crystals are harder than the schist and are proud of the surface. From my personal collection. Collected in 1989 |
