Locality: | Mina el Potosí, Santa Eulalia District, Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua, Mexico |
Description: | Distinct freestanding pyrite pseudomorphs after platy hexagonal pyrrhotite crystals to 18 mm with overgrowth on the rear of lustrous translucent quartz microcrystals. The bottom has gray-metallic galena and transparent colorless cubic fluorite crystals. From my personal collection; ex. Edward R. Swoboda collection (see Mineralogical Record V. 28, No. 6.) |
