Description: | Classic specimen of translucent green prehnite pseudomorphs after anhydrite crystals to 40 mm with bladed babingtonite. The anhydrite formed first, was overgrown with prehnite, the anhydrite later dissolved, leaving hollow cavities in the prehnite. Ex. Jim Vander Veer collection (Sussex, NJ) |
