Mineral:Rutile and Hematite on Quartz with Rutile inclusions
Locality:Ibitiara, south of Novo Horizonte, Bahia, Brazil
Description:Lustrous straw-yellow fibrous rutile crystals to 8 mm with minor dark-metallic hematite crystals to 4 mm on, and included within lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 20 mm. The rutile crystals appear chatoyant in parallel aggregates. Ex. D. Miller collection; collected ca. 1995
