Description:	Large (and heavy) crystal of lustrous black ferberite with partial tan-colored coating, probably siderite, with no matrix attached. Wolframite is a series composed that varies from iron dominant Ferberite to manganese dominant Hübnerite. Ex. W. B. Thompson collection; ex. Dr. Joseph Springall (1811-1895) of Dexter, Maine
