Description: | Many translucent dark red-brown dodecahedral almandine garnet crystals in contrasting gray schist. Children call these garnet specimens Chocolate Chip Cookie Rocks because of their resemblance to the cookies. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1992; locality closed to collecting in 2012 |
