Description: | Lustrous transparent selenite crystals, the colorless transparent variety of the mineral species gypsum, to 60 mm on translucent beige-colored aragonite microcrystals over yellow sulfur. The aragonite fluoresces white under SW UV illumination. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970); acquired from Schortmann's Hotel Lexington Sale, NYC. March 17-18, 1950 |
