Description: | Lustrous transparent gray bladed barite crystals to 25 mm with pinkish rhombohedral dolomite crystals to 2 mm on the bottom where the barite crystals were attached. The barite crystals fluoresce white under UV illumination. Ex. D. Miller collection #M2243; collected ca. 1998. Fluoresces pink-white under 254 nm shortwave (SW) or 365 nm longwave (LW) ultraviolet illumination |
