Mineral:Natrolite with partial coating of Heulandite
Locality:Chimney Rock Quarry, Bound Brook, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous transparent colorless 24 mm natrolite crystal partially coated with greenish heulandite microcrystals from the famous find in 1973. The natrolite crystal termination is not coated with heulandite and shows the transparent interior. Collected ca. 1973; see Mineralogical Record v.9 #1.
