Description: | Lustrous acicular white pectolite crystals in diverging spray-shaped aggregates filling a vein that formed in a fracture zone. The vein was wide enough to allow room for terminated pectolite crystals in a center void. A fine specimen. Ex. George F. Kunz (1856-1932) sold to New York State Museum in 1866, collection #3824-1 |
