Description:Lustrous translucent orange-brown uvite tourmaline crystals with no matrix attached. The uvite tourmaline crystals have high luster and rich color uncommon from this locality. The tourmalines from this locality are fluorine dominant species: fluor-uvite. Ex. Johns Hopkins University #426IIc G10, George Huntington Williams (1856-1895) Collection, founder of the Department of Geology at J.H.U.
