Description: | Large cluster of lustrous parallel scalenohedral calcite crystals with deep golden-orange color (not pale like recent calcite from the mine). The calcite crystals are transparent with a translucent core and have complex crystal faces on the terminations. Collected ca. 1980. Fluoresces red-orange under 365 nm LW UV illumination |
