Mineral:Franklinite and Zincite in Calcite with Willemite
Locality:Sterling Mine, Ogdensburg, Sterling Hill, Sussex County, New Jersey (Type Locality for Franklinite and Zincite)
Description:Lustrous gray-metallic franklinite crystals to 10 mm with translucent red zincite and beige willemite in pale-yellow calcite. Under SW UV illumination the calcite fluoresces bright orange and the willemite fluoresces bright green. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1990
